A Celebration of Scholarship
As part of our campus community engaged in research or scholarship, you are invited to submit an abstract for the 3rd Annual Palm Beach Atlantic University Research Conference. An annual event, An annual event, the conference will be held on Wednesday and Thursday, March 26-27, 2014. The event is co-sponsored by the Faculty Research Council and the Office of Career Services.
The 2014 conference provides the PBA community with an opportunity to share their scholarly activities, view poster presentations, hear papers presented by outstanding students and faculty, and experience the diversity of creative activity from disciplines throughout the campus. Interested students gain valuable experience in preparing and delivering professional conference presentations of various types and learn from watching the presentations of others.
Dr. Eric Lowdermilk, coordinator for student missions, is co-author of an article titled “Experiencing Unexpected Pathways: a Grounded Theory Study of the Surprising Transformation of Inner-City Youth” to be published in the journal Social Work and Christianity, Volume 40:3 (2013). His co-author, Joey Brunache, is a product of Urban Youth Impact’s ministry and served as a study subject as well as a member of the research team.
